For
Parents and School Administrators:
Summer
debate camps are held around the country in sessions that range from two to
seven weeks. Debate camps allow
debaters to improve their skills, by working with experienced debaters and
debate coaches and by providing research materials for the upcoming
season. Please note that many camps
also offer scholarships or opportunities for reduced tuition.
Debate
camp is recommended but not mandatory.
Those who attend debate camps will be encouraged to share their evidence
and notes with other members of the team.
To this end, students attend as many different camps as possible.
