Crews

There is more to Drama Club than being an actor on the stage. A lot goes on behind the scenes to make sure everything runs smoothly at show time. One of the unique aspects about Drama Club is that there are so many different ways to be involed.

Stage Crew is in charge of lights, sound, and set construction.

Costume Crew finds and makes clothes for the actors. They also have to be backstage to iron, sew and repair costumes during a production.

Make-up Crew does hair and make-up for the actors. They also ensure the make-up rooms are kept clean and orderly.

Publicity makes sure that people know about what events are going on in the theatre. Among other tasks, they make posters and place announcements in the school bulletin.

House Managers and Ushers hand out programs and show audience members to their seats. They also make sure that the theatre is kept clean.

Props Crew finds unique items that will be used by the actors in a production.
