Our Blood Drive was a success!
We had 62 donors….Thank you Perrie Johnson and your group for organizing
such a successful event!
Congratulations to the Sophomore class! You collected over $2,500 in
receipt totals for Dine-Out for Maple Alley Inn! Thanks to you , $500 worth of hot food will be served to people
in need right here in our community! As
a school, BHS Dined-Out and raised $1000 to help feed people in need. Nice work!

The Whatcom County Health
Department would like to make a special invitation to Bellingham High
School Staff and Students to attend our last Public Forum on Whatcom County Health Issues, Wednesday May 14th,
from 6:30 - 9:30 PM at St. Luke's Health Education Center (3333 Squalicum Pkwy
near the hospital). This interactive event is professionally
facilitated and gives citizens a chance to tell the County what are
the most important health issues facing our County. These
issues can be related to health
care access, clean air and water, schools, recreation, bike
lanes, nutrition and emergency preparedness - just to
name a few! Healthy refreshments will be served.

Seniors, Graduation is just around the corner! If you have not yet paid for the Grad Party,
you should do that soon! Information
and forms are available at the ASB window (look for the bright green
brochures) and you can drop off a check to the ASB office at any time.
There will also be parents selling tickets every Friday in the Commons at
lunchtime from now until graduation, so do not miss out...reserve your spot
soon!
Want to get involved in real court cases involving real teens? Join Teen Court every Friday after school in
Room 173.
The Nisqually
Wildlife Rehab Center is looking for volunteers to be wild animal care
providers. Clean cages, feed, and
monitor animals. Come to the Career Center to learn how.

good for the entire 2008/09 School
