Purpose: At the end of this course you should be able to describe key characteristics of a feature-based, parametric solid modeler, distinguis between sketched and applied features, identify the principle components of the SolidWorks user interface, and explain how different dimensioning methodogies convery different design intent.

Course Objectives: After successful complete of this course you will have a better understanding of different modelers and their function. You will learn how to use mechanical design automation software to build parametric models and parts and assemblies, make drawings of these parts, and produce the parts through CNC milling software.

Course Outline: Units that will be covered: Advanced use of Rhino, Animation. You will create products using a 3D printer. This class will be more project based with both projects assigned by instructor and student generated projects.
