RAIDER STRENGTH/CONDITIONING
CALCULATING STRENGTH/AGILITY
POINTS
1.)
Sign
on to the network
2.)
Click
on "Windows
Explorer"“Internet Explorer” icon on the
desktop.
3.)
Find
the "K://"
drive and double click on it.You should now have the BHS home web page on your
desktop.
4.)
Go
to the "BFS"
folder. Double Click to open.Click “Departments”
5.) Open the "DOC"
folder by double clicking on it. Click “Physical Education”
6.) Click “Darin Nolan”
7.) Select “Strength &
Conditioning Class”
8.)
If you are inputting data for test
2 or test 3, go to
the H: drive and
open the first testing spreadsheet you created in your folder. You will add your new data to this spreadsheet. If this is your first time entering data into your
spreadsheet, go to the next step.
9.) Scroll down and choose the spreadsheet that pertains to youto “Strength Points
Worksheet
Male or Female”. Open this file.For example: If you are a Female and did not test
for the 3 core lifts but did the agility/fitness testing, you would select “Female Strength Points Worksheet Fitness”. If you are a Male and did not test for the
Bench/Power Clean/Squat, then you would choose the Male Strength Points Fitness
spreadsheet.
10.) Go to “FILE”, “SAVE AS” and save a copy
to your “H” drive.
11.) Make sure you fill in your name, period, date, and
body weight in the upper portion of the spreadsheet.
12.) Your spreadsheet has a formula setup which will
calculate your strength points based on your Schwartz or Malone index.
*Make sure you
put your score/time and how many points
you receive based on the scoring rubric on your max & agility
record sheet.1.)
Select
the "Strength Points"
document by double clicking on it.
1.)
Go to FILE, SAVE AS
and save this document to your "H:"
drive.
1.) In your "H:"
drive, open the "Strength
Points" document and
enter your agility and max scores.
1.) You will need to
find your Schwartz Strength
Index using your body weight in Kilograms.
1.)
Using
the STRENGTH
FACTORS (these
numbers are located in line 6,7 & 8 of the
spreadsheet) on the back side of the SCHWARTZ
FORMULA
worksheet, find your total points out of 25 for each max lift, based on
your STRENGTH FACTORSBench, Squat
& Power Clean INDEX, NOT how much
you lifted! These STRENGTH FACTORS are
calculations using your SCHWARTZ INDEX FACTOR. The Strength
Factors are located on the back of this sheet.

· Look on the
back of this sheet. Find your grade and lift. Find your index number.
· Read across
to the right to find your total points out of 25.
13.)
Enter
the amount of points you received for each
fitness & agility/max test and the totals
will take
care of themselvesautomatically be calculated. The points for agility's/conditioning are on the
back of your "Max Lifts" record
sheet. If you did not take a test, put your score in from
the last testing period.

The ‘POINTS’ for your
agilities and fitness are located on the backside of your ‘Max & Agility
Record Sheet’. You may also find a copy of the rubric on the Strength
& Conditioning Website.
14.)
Once you have entered all
your data, SAVE a copy to your "H:" drive and PRINT a copy to give to Mr.
Nolan.
TO PRINT: Go to "FILE" "PRINT"
1.)
After you have finished
your spreadsheet, you need to update your 1 rep max scores in the Bigger,
Faster, and
Stronger program.
2.)
Go into WINDOWS
EXPLORER, under
MY COMPUTER, select the “K” Drive.
3.)
Inside the “K”
Drive, you will find a folder labeled “BFS”, open this folder.
4.)
Scroll down to
find the icon labeled “btcwin.exe”, open this application.
5.)
Go to “BROWSE
ATHLETES”, find your name and “double
click” on your name.
6.)
At the bottom of
this page, click “ATHLETES
SCORES”, you will
go into each of the max lifts you completed and “INSERT” a new score if
you have one.
7.)
When you are
finished, close out of the program. This program automatically saves your
information.

BFS
MAX LIFT SCORE UPDATES
1.)Go
into the "K:" drive and open the "BFS" folder.
1.)Scroll
down to the executable file called "btcwin.exe". Double Click on this file to open
"Beat the Computer" program.
1.)Go
to "BROWSE" on the menu bar and select "BROWSE ATHLETES".
1.)Find
your name and double click on it.
1.)Click
"ATHLETES SCORES".
1.)Select
the lift you want to edit by double clicking on it.
1.)Click
"INSERT"
1.)Put
"1" for number of reps and how much
you did for the max test in "weight
lifted".
1.)Click
the "Pre-workout Test Score" so a check mark shows. This will
adjust your next workout based on your max lifts.
1.)Click
"OK", then "CLOSE" on the next screen.
1.)Go
back and do steps 6 through 10
for all the remainder of your max
lifts.
