Democracies like ours are a “work-in-progress”. They require educated people to actively participate in their communities to address issues, raise questions, and create solutions to complex problems. I believe schools should serve as a place of possibility where people can come together to talk, play and work together to envision the kind of society we want to live in and develop the skills necessary to make that vision a reality.

Teaching is not simply about helping students get good jobs. Its about helping students cultivate the intellectual and emotional potential to make a difference in this world and the lives of others. My mission is to not only inspire students to be good thinkers, but to be good people.
